Personality: 
Vain- Marja is considered traditionally attractive and is very aware of the fact. He preens more often that is probably becoming of a gaurdsman and his pride is easily hurt if his appearance is insulted.
Taciturn- Marja is generally quiet and usually keeps his opinion to himself. He's not antisocial, just quiet.
Misogynist- While Marja had a perfectly fine mother, he generally views does as stupid and repulsively weak. He also holds somewhat of a grudge against his own mother as he blames her for his low in-born rank.
Insecure- Marja is easily frustrated and hurt by teasing from others. He bases much of his self worth on what others think of him and can in some cases be a bit paranoid about what is being said behind his back.
Hardworking- Marja is not afraid to work for his place in guard and to put effort into honing his skills. He would never willingly shirk his duties.
Affectionate- Marja dotes on the ones he loves. Once his favor his won his love is expressed openly through gifts and caresses.


Appearance: Attractive dark orange to red color with fawn spots. He is growing into his manly neck-beard mane and has a split tassel tail.

History: Born to a common doe by a lesser Royal stag, Marja never knew much of his father beyond the stag's name. He was however acutely aware the fact that his father was able to move in social circles that would never be open to him as a result of his low ranking mother. Having some sense of his own attractiveness Marja's commoner status frustrated him from a young age as he always imagined how popular he might have been in the royal set. Marja's frustration with his rank and the blame he laid on his mother meant that the two were never very close. Elwin found his obsession with the royals exasperating as she could not see the appeal of such a cut throat social life.

As soon as he was able to care for himself, Marja and his mother parted ways and shortly thereafter he joined the Royal Guard. Marja saw this as the only possible way to advance his social status in the herd and jumped readily into his training. His ultimate goal is to achieve the rank of Captain or be selected as an advisor to the King. Marja won't be satisfied until he's climbed the ladder as far as he can go, and he's not afraid to put in the work needed to get there.

Side note: Marja is hella gay, but he doesn't realize that yet. ;D
